Spring Break is near...
and I'm going to be out and about this week. Stats quiz went alright, though to my dismay, John Lee told me that I screwed up on a couple of questions. I hate the fact that I know the material, really. It's just that all the damn professors here decide to be cute and sneaky with their midterms, thereby screwing people (like me) over. Math 54 midterm turned out to be a disaster, all because of a couple of misplaced words (ie, having the right answer, but instead of writing "linear combinations" I wrote "vectors," negating all the points for that question. But oh well... you learn to memorize things word-for-word after a while, here. Anything less is simply unacceptable.

On Monday after the fraternity meeting, we played "Manhunt," which is basically Sharks and Minnows (ie... the hunters and the hunted, if you couldn't tell). Originally, we were going to have a 25 vs. 25 game, with the minnow starting point at Haas (on the far east side of campus) and ending at the University Circle (on the far west side of campus). All of campus was fair game. It would have been a blast, but it turned out to only be a 7 vs. 7 match, so it got moved from the fraternity house to Unit 3, with Dwight and Bancroft as the borders. Our team won, 5-3, thanks to the sneaky ways of Mike Krider and his knowledge of a variety of things, including this area.

Caught my first TD pass on Tuesday. The SigEp football team is now 3-1 (after losing the first game in the rain) and has basically blown out the opponents every game.

3/15- SigEp took part in the Berkeley Project, in which we went to Indian Rock on the North side of Berkeley and cleaned up weeds. View was fairly spectacular on a Saturday afternoon. Here are pics:
